Turkish-American Artist and Illustrator born in Annapolis, Maryland. Thanks to my mom I was exposed to design and art at a young age. I was lucky to take lessons with an illustrator who lived down the street from where I grew up before entering high-school. With the support of my teachers, friends, & family I received my BFA in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Since then I have worked as an freelance illustrator and art teacher. Currently I’m pursuing my MFA in Studio Art at Towson University, where I also teach as an adjunct professor.
Through my work I seek to utilise the power of storytelling to ask and answer questions big and small.
